Autori programa i kustosi su Ernest Larsen i Šeri Milner (Sherry Millner).

Program Popraviti budućnost sastoji se od izbora ključnih filmova iz Border-Crossers and Trouble-Makers serije programa eksperimentalnih političkih filmova/videa prvobitno predstavljenih na Oberhausen filmskom festivalu 2008. godine, a kasnije na Festivalu subverzivnog filma u Zagrebu, maja meseca ove godine. Šeri Milner i Ernst Larsen snimili su prvi situacionistički film u Americi Disaster (paralelna projekcija sa dva Super 8 projektora, 1976. godine) na talasu francuskih marksističkih filmskih stvaralaca kao sto je Žan Lik Godar. Posle više od trideset godina aktivističkog bavljenja socijalnim, angažovanim i avangardnim filmom i videom, napravili su "rimejk" situacionističkog filma Gi Debora Critique of Separation iz 1961, legendarnog vođe studentskih demonstracija u Parizu 1968. Ponovo na dva ekrana, pod nazivom PARTIAL Critique of Separation film je imao premijeru na festivalu u Oberhauzenu 2008. godine.

ISLE OF FLOWERS Jorge Furtado 1989 12 min video Brazil
Described by Furtado as a "letter to a Martian who knows nothing of the earth and its social systems," the film uses inventive animation and a parodic mock-lecture style of narration to link the urban bourgeois family to the rural poor who scavenge the garbage dump, the 'isle of flowers,' where pigs eat better than people. The truth of a society is in its detritus.

SHOPLIFTING: IT'S A CRIME? Sherry Millner 1979 15 min. 16mm US
An 'educational' documentary on the evils of shoplifting is itself shoplifted, mocked, and then remade or extrapolated on the Proudhonian principle that 'property is theft,' with the figure of the shoplifter freed from the zone of morality and re-situated as a vital part of an alternative economy. The dual aim is to shake up the disciplinary role of the educational doc as well as conventional definitions of criminality.

Robots a hundred years after 1984 discuss the significance of collective labor struggle. Produced in response to the 100th year anniversary of labor union laws in France, this film melds sci-fi to the documentary.

A videotape of a live cable broadcast on community visiting day inside a federal prison that documents an extraordinary speech by 75 year old African-American civil rights activist Queen Mother Moore, who says such things to the increasingly stunned young black male prisoners as "you can't steal from the white man, because everything he has is stolen from you."

Sherry Millner i Ernie Larsen su anarhistički umjetnici i tvorci Države u stanju uzbune/ State of Emergency, intervencionističkog serijala video projekcija na prozorima jednog njujorškog potkrovlja i na drugim nekonvencionalnim lokacijama. Surađivati su započeli sredinom 1970-ih performansom o Weather Undergroundu, nakon čega su superosmicom snimili situacionistički film na dva ekrana, Katastrofa (Disaster, 1976), nedavno objavljen na DVD-u. Snimili su dva antidokumentarca o kriminalu na 16mm formatu, a potom niz satiričkih poluautobiografskih video uradaka koji se fokusiraju na nuklearnu obitelj kao izvorište reprodukcije autoritarnih struktura koje (p)održavaju javnu sferu. Multimedijske instalacije Sherry Millner razmatraju prostor domaćinstva kao bojno polje; prvo putem teorije i prakse kamuflaže kao dominantne estetike, a potom re-kreirajući nacrte i planove iz priručnika američke vojske o tome kako postaviti zamke u domovima. Ernest Larsen je i romanopisac (Not a Through Street, 1981) i kritičar medija. Njihov konceptualni video rad 41 pucanj (41 Shot, 2000) temelji se na slučaju imigranta i uličnog prodavača Amadoua Dialloa kojeg je ubila policija, i istražuje implicitno rasističku kriminološku teoriju 'razbijenih prozora'. Trenutačno rade na instalaciji i jednokanalnim verzijama projekta Sight Gags, koji patriotizam prikazuje kao napadaj kolektivnog histeričnog sljepila. Millner je profesorica na sveučilištu College of Staten Island, CUNY.
